SJS Bazar helps you to reach thousands of customers. We strive to ensure a fair and trustworthy buyer and seller experience. At SJS Bazar, we expect you to adhere to the code of conduct principles that are outlined below. 

Seller Code of Conduct Principles:

  • All applicable should make sure they abide all laws of SJS Bazar’s policies.
  • Maintain current account information.
  • Never misrepresent yourself.
  • Always act in a manner that ensures a trustworthy experience for SJS Bazar customers.
  • Never list products that might cause harm to SJS Bazar customers.
  • Never engage in any misleading, inappropriate or offensive behavior. This applies to all your activities, including but not limited to
    • Information provided on your account
    • Information provided in listings, content or images
    • Communication between you and SJS Bazar, or you and our customers

Act fairly at all times. Unfair behavior includes to the following: 

  • Behavior that could be deemed as manipulation or “gaming” of any part of the buying or selling experience
  • Actions that could be perceived as manipulating customer reviews, including by directly or indirectly contributing false, misleading or inauthentic content
  • Activities that could be perceived as attempting to manipulate SJS Bazar’s search results or sales rankings
  • Actions that intentionally damage another seller, their listings or their ratings

Category, Product and Content Restrictions

Restricted Products:

Customers trust that they can always buy with confidence on SJS Bazar. Products offered for sale on SJS Bazar must comply with all laws and regulations and with SJS Bazar’s policies. Before listing products on SJS Bazar, you should carefully review the Restricted Products policy pages listed below.

The examples provided in these pages are not as legal advice. We encourage you to consult with your legal adviser if you have questions about the laws and regulations concerning your products. Even where a product is listed under ‘Examples of Permitted Listings’, all products and listings must also comply with all applicable laws. In addition, any links provided are for informational purposes only, and SJS Bazar does not warrant the accuracy of any information provided in these links. Also, you should regularly review SJS Bazar’s policies as these may change from time to time and we may restrict or prohibit products that are permitted by law.

SJS Bazar reserves the right to make judgements whether or not a listing is appropriate. If we determine that the content of a product detail page or listing is prohibited, potentially illegal or inappropriate, we may remove it without prior notice. If you supply a product in violation of the law or any of SJS Bazar’s policies, including those listed on the Restricted Products policy pages, we will take corrective actions, as appropriate, including but not limited to the cancellation of the listing, immediately suspending or terminating selling privileges and without making any payments will terminate the account. The sale of illegal or unsafe products can also lead to legal action, including civil and criminal penalties. As sellers are legally liable for their actions and transactions, sellers must know the legal parameters surrounding any product they offer for sale on SJS Bazar.

We will be taking reviews on behalf of our customers and working with regulators, third party experts, vendors and sellers to improve the ways we detect and prevent illegal and unsafe products from reaching our marketplace. SJS Bazar encourages you to report listings that violate SJS Bazar’s policies or applicable law by  contacting us . Please include all the relevant information so that we can thoroughly investigate and take appropriate action.

Restricted Products Appeals:

On this occasion, our systems may remove products that are permitted to be sold on our site. This only happen if provided information of products are incomplete or inaccurate or if our systems incorrectly identify the restricted products. Also note that some products that are legal are still prohibited per SJS Bazar’s policies.

Sellers who believe their product has been removed in error should they should contact with support team member in order for the restriction to be removed. If we allow products are permitted for sale we will make adjustments to our systems as well as to the seller’s account status will be active, as applicable. Please note that moving a restricted product listing to Out of Stock (OOS) does not make the listing compliant. If the restricted products are not closed or deleted properly from the inventory, then SJS team has a right to close your account. If you think your products were incorrectly identified as a restricted product on SJS Bazar, close the listings immediately while you are appealing the restrictions with SJS Bazar’s Support team.

Multiple seller accounts:

Operating and maintaining multiple Seller accounts are prohibited. If you have a legitimate business need for a second account, you can apply for an exception to this policy.

Threatening SJS bazar employees:

You can use our Seller Support Services in case of questions or problems with your Seller Account. It’s prohibited to abuse this functionality. We measure our employees on high quality standards in order to be able to provide the best possible costumer service to you and we also expect a professional way of communication and a fair rating from our sellers towards our customers and employees.

Listing prohibited products:

Any alcohol products or any product which comes under drugs are strictly prohibited.
